Monitor activity in real time
Use the map and live feed to see who is active on the website now.
Open Realtime → Map to monitor current website activity. The map shows online visitors when their location is available, while the floating panel shows the latest received events.
Read the map and feed
- Open Realtime → Map.
- Select a visitor marker to open the available visitor summary in the panel.
- Select a linked event in the feed to focus its visitor when a profile is available.
- Close the visitor summary to return to the feed. You can also collapse the panel to see more of the map.
The feed shows the event name, website path when available, country, and how recently CJM received the event. It is expected to be empty when nobody is active.
Understand the limits
Realtime describes activity happening now. A visitor can appear without a resolved position, and events without a profile cannot be opened as a visitor. The map and feed help observe activity; they do not change a profile or provide a complete historical journey.
If the connection is reconnecting or unavailable, wait for it to reconnect before treating a missing event as a tracking problem. For period-based totals and breakdowns, see Realtime statistics.
