Acquisition

Analyze acquisition

Compare paid channels, campaigns, and ads with the same period and attribution model.

Acquisition brings together advertising data from the channels connected to the project. Use it to understand which paid channels, campaigns, and ads produce results in the selected period.

Before you start, connect Meta or Google Ads in Setup → Channels. Without a connected, synchronized account, there are no campaigns or spend data to read here.

Compare channels

  1. Open Acquisition → Channels.
  2. Choose the date range you want to analyze.
  3. If needed, open filters and narrow results by Channel or Source.
  4. In Attribution, choose First touch or Last touch.
  5. Compare the overview, then select a channel row to see its campaigns.

The selected period and model stay active while you move between Channels and Campaigns. The comparison with the previous period uses the immediately preceding period of equal length.

Choose an attribution model

  • First touch assigns a result to the first known paid channel in the profile journey.
  • Last touch assigns a result to the last known paid channel before the result.

Use one model consistently when comparing rows and periods. Changing it can change the revenue, cost-per-result, and CJX associated with a channel, even when the platform spend stays the same.

Use filters and date range

The Channel filter limits rows to a paid channel. The Source filter limits data to the available source. Not every item on the page responds to the same filters: always check the period, visible filters, and attribution model in the top bar before comparing a value.

An empty view can mean no account is connected, the period has no spend, synchronization has not produced data yet, or active filters return no results.

Read a channel

Select Meta or Google Ads from the table. Its detail keeps the selected period, filters, and attribution model, shows the trend and channel metrics, and lists campaigns. Select a campaign to continue to its detail.

The overview can include spend, revenue, cost per MQL, cost per SQL, cost per won deal, and CJX. For the meaning of metrics and charts, see Metrics and attribution.

Use this area to compare reporting data. To connect an account or change its access, return to Setup → Channels.
