Use the CJM extension
Configure website actions, inspect events, and register form fields.
The CJM extension lets you work on a website while browsing it: select a button to measure, configure a Pixel event, and inspect outgoing events detected by the browser.
To receive visitor data, the website needs the Pixel installed. The extension is a configuration and verification tool: installing it in your browser does not install the Pixel on the website.
What you can do

You can select elements, inspect events, browse the catalog, and read form fields without signing in. Access and an organization, project, and Pixel selection are needed to read or change configurations in CJM.
A first complete workflow
- Install the extension and select your Pixel.
- Configure a click on “Request a demo”.
- Reload the website and click the button outside selection mode.
- Check the event in the extension and dashboard.
To work on form fields, follow Map a form. This prepares the field configuration; sending answers and contact details requires a separate connection.
Understand the results
- Selector copied: you have the element reference. The event is not configured yet.
- Event configuration saved: you updated the Pixel in CJM. Reload the website and test the action.
- Event in the extension: the browser attempted a recognized outgoing request. Check receipt in CJM too.
- Form mapped to CJM: the fields are registered. This does not mean answers or new contacts have arrived.
Before making a change, check the Pixel shown at the top: a previous selection can be restored and does not automatically follow every website change.
