Set up your first project with the wizard
Create a project, follow the five guided steps, and resume setup when needed.
The wizard guides you through the first project setup. It helps you reach the right Dashboard areas, but it does not replace a real check of the Pixel, integrations, or collected data.
Before you start
You need a selected organization and permission to create a project. To manage the name, logo, or access of an existing project, see Manage projects.
Create the project and start the wizard
- Open Projects in the organization.
- Select New Project, then Start guide setup.
- Enter Name. Project Logo is optional.
- Select Create Project and Start.
The Dashboard creates the project and opens the step list. Select Start for a new step or Continue for a step already in progress. The list also shows the Complete state for finished steps.
Use Previous and Next to move between screens. These buttons do not prove that an integration or the Pixel is already working.
Follow the five steps

The first two steps are required by the guided setup; the others are optional. You can complete the operational guides later from Setup or Pipeline in the project.
Resume setup
Until the wizard is complete, the project sidebar shows the Onboarding Project card with a percentage and a Resume Wizard button.
- Open the correct project.
- Select Resume Wizard in the card.
- Review the displayed steps and select Continue for the one you need to resume.
If you cannot find the card, check that the correct project is selected. A completed setup no longer shows the card.
Finish and verify
At the end, select Go to Dashboard from the Setup Complete! screen. It summarizes the five step states, but does not confirm that the website is sending events, an external account is synchronized, or data is available.
